Hot and beautifully brown and crunchy on the outside, the inside was soft and creamy tasting and went perfectly with the pot of rillettes. It must be difficult to maintain them in such a damp environment but it is imporant and it is the reason for four stars rather than five for this amazing place.More, A somewhat unusual restaurant in that there are only 4 choices on the menu and all of them feature mushrooms heavily. I opted for the snails on one of the 4 menus which cost €26. Dessert was a small warm apple tart which was a bit ordinary – I ate the filling and the pastry underneath and left the crust. Paté and butter with bread, baked cheese on breaf and mushrooms and beans are 3 of the courses. The restaurant has the mark “product of the regional natural Parc Loire Anjou Touraine”. Again, the bread is there (and we were offered more) it was with the same with the special hot bread with melted Brie. Does this restaurant offer table service?
